Accessibility Statement
Accessibility of this website: the measures taken, known gaps and how to contact us.

We want journylo.com to work for every visitor, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard or a magnifier. This statement explains what journylo has done, which gaps remain and how to report a barrier.
Our approach
We regard accessible pages as ordinary maintenance work at journylo rather than an additional feature. Every new page and every change to the design is checked to make sure the text remains readable, the navigation remains usable without a mouse and no information is carried by colour alone. The statement applies to journylo.com only.
What we do
The website uses semantic HTML with a clear heading structure, one main heading per page and link texts that make sense on their own. Navigation and main content are marked as separate regions, each page states its language for screen readers, and images that carry information have text alternatives.
Text and background colours are combined to reach a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 for body copy, links and buttons. Because sizes are given in relative units, zooming or increasing the browser font size does not disturb the layout. The website can be operated with a keyboard alone.
Standards
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. The site is currently partially conformant: most content meets the guidelines, while the points listed below do not yet. Where a requirement cannot be met right away, we provide the information in another way.
Known limitations
Some pictures are general illustrations with a short alternative text rather than a full description.
Reporting a barrier
If you come across a barrier on this website, or cannot find information you need, please tell us by email at [email protected] or by telephone on 01865 430172. It helps to name the page, describe what happened and mention the browser or assistive technology you used; we aim to answer within five working days.
Information in another form
The website is not the only way to get information from journylo. You can call us on 01865 430172 during business hours, write to [email protected] or send a letter to 14 Cooper Mews, Oxford OX2 6HT; if a page does not work for you, we can read its content to you by telephone or send it as plain text.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 24 October 2026 on the basis of our own review. We checked the main page types with a keyboard, with increased zoom and with a screen reader; no external audit was commissioned. The statement is reviewed once a year and after any major change to the website.
